Being a foster carer with Thrive Foster Care involves taking on the enrichment and rewarding role of providing a stable, nurturing and supportive home for children who are unable to live with their biological families for a variety of reasons. As a foster carer, your role is pivotal in helping nurture the physical, emotional and educational wellbeing of the children placed under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and nurturing environment: Provide a secure, loving and nurturing environment where the child can thrive.
Support and Guidance: Offer consistent support and guidance to help the child develop vital life skills.
Promoting health and Wellbeing: Ensure the child's health and wellbeing are looked after, including attending medical appointments.
Collaborative Working: Work collaboratively with a team of professionals, including social workers and educators, to ensure the child's holistic development.

Good communication
Adaptability.
Training and support:
As a foster carer you will receive comprehensive training and support during assessment and throughout your career. This will prepare you for the various aspects of fostering and ensure you stay updated on the best practices in foster care.
