A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd are a privately owned company and one of the largest convenience retailers in the UK, currently servicing circa. 1,000 Spar convenience stores and employing more than 5000 people with a turnover in excess of £1 billion.
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Class 1 Drivers at our Sittingbourne Outbase. We are offering:
1. £17.44 per hour,
2. Additional shifts paid at £20.97 per hour
3. Early start allowance of £1.75 per hour before 6am
The job role includes:
4. Multi-drop – between 5 and 10 deliveries.
5. Roll cage deliveries of food to retailers and garage forecourts using refrigerated vehicles and tail-lifts
6. Collection of empty roll cages and store waste/returns.
7. Some hand-ball deliveries are required.
8. Majority of start times are between 0300 and 0600.
9. 6 day operation.
10. Shift Pattern – 4 days out of 6, Monday to Saturday.
