About Our Client
Our client is a medium sized manufacturing company in Alfreton.
Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
4. Cost analysis, looking at cost v budget
5. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
6. Dealing with the supply chain, lots of collaboration with business stakeholders
7. Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
8. Support month-end and year-end closing activities (all analysis, no posting)
9. Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data.
10. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
11. Assist with ad hoc financial projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
12. Proven experience in a finance analyst role
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
15. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
16. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
17. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
