Job Summary
Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader for a 42‑hour permanent role based in Cheltenham (GL52 6YL). The position offers an hourly wage of £14.50 and includes a comprehensive benefits package, with responsibilities centred on resident care, medication management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
* Provide companionship and personal care support to residents, including wash, bath, dressing and oral care.
* Ensure residents’ mobility and independence by assessing and planning care needs.
* Support and oversee medication administration and maintain accurate documentation.
* Plan and participate in social activities, including trips and events, in collaboration with the Activities Coordinator.
* Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for all residents and manage health and social care records.
* Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to deliver integrated care.
* Hold line‑manager responsibilities for care and senior care assistants and act as acting manager in the absence of the Deputy or Registered Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
* At least two years’ experience in a social care environment.
* Qualified to at least QCF level 2.
* Previous experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior in a care home.
* Experience with medication administration.
* Flexible to work a 7:45 am to 8:15 pm shift and alternate weekend shifts.
