Take a look at the below to understand what you'll be doing: Lead and mentor a large team of SREs and SysOps engineers, providing direction and support. Ensure the team have the right skills, tools and training to be able to deliver the services and technologies required. Guide the SRE function to support Evri achieve compliance with the Well Architected AWS Framework through: Operational Excellence, Performance, Cost Optimisation, Security and Reliability Foster a culture of innovation, reliability, and efficiency across Evris cloud services Actively participate in and help mature the Cloud Centre of Excellence, working across Engineering, Technical and Product Teams within Evris Technology Department. Work closely with Architecture Team to development, steer and mature Cloud strategy, working with the SRE team to execute the strategy within a continuous improvement environment. Here are the core capabilities we are looking for: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud operations or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop and manage a technical team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code (Evri use a mixture of Ansible and CloudFormation) Proven experience of using and embedding CI/CD tools and associated practices (e.g. Jenkins and Concourse CI) Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
