About the Role:
Based in a secondary school in Milton Keynes, the role of School Sports Coach will involve leading/supporting PE lessons, organising and supervising/coaching sports events, fixtures and extra-curricular clubs. You'll be responsible for ensuring all resources and equipment are well-maintained and safe. In addition, your role will extend to contributing and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle among the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise, manage, and lead sports fixtures, events, and clubs
* Ensure that all sporting equipment and resources are risk assessed/kept in excellent condition
* Assist with the delivery of Curriculum PE lessons
* Mentor students in physical development and sporting values
* Promote a positive and inclusive physical activity based culture within the school
Requirements:
* Experience in coaching sports and working with young people
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A passion for sports and physical education
* A commitment to health and physical activity
