GSL are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join a forward:thinking and inclusive secondary school setting. This role involves delivering engaging, creative, and high:quality Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing critical thinking, analytical skills, cultural awareness, and a strong understanding of the world around them through subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education.
You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential within a positive and supportive learning environment.

As a Teacher of Humanities, you will play a key role in supporting students academic progress, personal development, and overall engagement with learning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an innovative curriculum and create an inclusive, supportive, and student:centred learning environment where every learner can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high:quality Humanities lessons Inspire students through creative, interactive, and engaging teaching approaches Prepare students for GCSE assessments and examinations Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement Work collaboratively with colleagues, pastoral teams, and senior leaders Promote positive behaviour management, engagement, and a love of learning Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and learning needs Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
