We are looking to recruit a Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic small animal veterinary practice in the City of Chelmsford area of ESSEX.
* excellent full time permanent role with hours over 4 days a week including a 1 in 4 weekend rota and no OOH.
* practice has great facilities and up to date equipment and technologies; ultrasound, digital x-ray, multi parameter monitoring and in-house laboratory etc.
* Ideally you will be experienced, motivated and enthusiastic with a minimum of 4 years experience in small animal practice
* if you have already worked in a Lead Veterinary role this is also an advantage
* role requires confidence in small animal routine surgeries and consults
* you will be joining a fabulous team of 3 Vet Surgeons.
* caseload is a full spectrum of first opinion work including a varied surgical caseload and offers a great opportunity to develop your areas of interest including support and funding to study further if desired.
* fantastic location near to the pretty Essex coast with trains into London in under 45 minutes, close to A12 and London Stansted Airport is under an hour away.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* minimum of 4 years experience
* confidence in small animal routine surgeries and consults
* Lead Vet or Senior Vet experience advantageous
