The Customer Insights & Experience (CIX) Department is at the heart of driving customer centricity throughout the business.
The Customer Insights team partners with departments across the business to explain what our customers and competitors think, feel and do.
In this role, you will not just be analysing data but answering important questions to provide strategic and commercial direction to Lidl GB.
You will need to have excellent numerical and analytic skills and have a strong understanding of Lidls everyday business in order to provide useful and valuable recommendations to stakeholders.

What you'll do Bring a data led, customer-centric lens to category analysis.
Analyse the performance of Lidl and competitors.
Manage Retail Panel and Consumer Panel tracking, interrogating the data and making adjustments where necessary to ensure it is accurate.
Utilise data from both internal systems and external providers, including some of the leading market research agencies in GB such as Worldpanel by Numerator (formerly Kantar), and Nielsen IQ.
Provide senior national and regional management with accurate reporting on business and category performance.
Analyse complex data from multiple sources and interpret these into accurate high quality reports and presentations.
Collaborate closely with the Buying team to prepare and execute product range reviews.
Contribute to cross country analyses and projects led by Lidl International.
Work cross functionally with departments including Buying, Store Layout (Merchandising), CRM & Loyalty and Marketing.
What you'll need Confidence in working with key market data tools, such as Nielsen IQ, Worldpanel by Numerator (formerly Kantar), GFK, Circana, at a data agency, retailer or supplier.
Expertise in Data Analysis, Category Management and Shopper Insights.
Advanced data processing and visualisation skills, such as with Excel/PowerPoint or Google Sheets/Slides, is required.
Interest in challenging the status quo and excitement in providing colleagues at every level of the business with evidence led insights.
A strong attention to detail and ability to be accurate.
Confidence in your communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Business-minded approach; commercially savvy and resilient.
