An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Marketing Team to raise brand awareness in Russell & Bromley as a leader in luxury fashion, bringing the exceptional to the everyday.
You will work with the Senior Brand & Digital Marketing Manager to deliver seasonal email marketing & CRM strategies that drive engagement, retention, and conversion for Russell & Bromley. You will nurture the customer through each lifecycle stage from welcome to post-purchase flows identifying valuable customer touch points by analysing customer behaviour. You will champion customer insights and become instrumental in building relationships and driving loyalty though seamless, on-brand communications that add value to the brand. This role will be based in the Russell & Bromley Head Office based in London. Hybrid working arrangements are available at the Company's discretion.

About the Role
Email
* Manage email campaign strategy with ownership across campaign planning, execution and forecasting
* Responsible for the revenue target set against email as a channel and accountable for driving the key KPIs and strategies to deliver against these targets
* Run the day-to-day management of email delivery and execution aiming to develop a programme of communications that deepens engagement with the Russell & Bromley customer
* Apply email marketing best practice across all areas, ensuring best-in-class campaigns whilst keeping abreast of competitor activity and technology advances
* Work with ecom team to ensure optimised on-site experience – from landing pages, email sign-ups, and on-site personalisation
* Monitor overall KPIs on an ongoing basis and report on the performance of new initiatives, monthly KPIs and other customer marketing activity. Report against benchmarking and forecast.
* Ownership over an effective A/B testing programme and optimisation plan to improve future emails based on findings.
* Work collaboratively with the brand team to suggest seasonally specific email campaigns whilst working closely with creative, Merchandising, PR and Ecommerce teams based on email briefs and product selection.
* Adapt the strategic plan throughout the calendar year in response to new opportunities and challenges
* Implementing improvements and tailoring future campaigns to keep increasing the open and click-through rates and to drive conversion, sales, and increase loyalty
* Brief assets required for email creation to the design team ensuring they are produced timely and to the required formats whist meeting brand guidelines, email best practice and commercial mindset
CRM
* Champion customer data by using modelling and insights to design and optimise segmentation and content approach for personalised customer journeys which drive customer value and effectiveness
* Analyse customer behaviour to create targeted strategies to drive desired behaviour through segmentation, personalisation, identifying new touch points and further optimisation of existing flows
* Own customer segmentation across the business to drive decision making – utilise insights from Experian and data sources guide decision making and coms strategy
* Develop and test a customer acquisition strategy in-line with brand guidelines and nurture customers from welcome to post-purchase flows
* Maintain and manage customer data, responsible for data hygiene, standardisation, validation and de-duping activities, including GDPR requests
* Work to develop scalable acquisition programmes with a view to database growth.
About You
* 3+ years experience in a similar role
* Previous experience working with triggered, lifecycle email campaigns
* Experience in AB and multivariate testing, as well as personalising and optimising content
* Good knowledge of email technology platforms, web analytics, Google Analytics, customer databases and segmentation opportunities.
* Experience of working with an industry standard ESP required, Emarsys experience preferred but not essential
* Strong desire to lead innovative thinking to drive best-in-class digital communication concepts and solutions
* Strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of analytics and digital reporting
* Excellent communication skills – you must be able to work with key stakeholders collaboratively and professionally both internally and externally
* Exceptional teamwork skills – this role requires you to collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation
* Experience of working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
