Installation Engineer – Netomnia
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Saturday, 45 hours per week, 7:30am–5:30pm. 1 Saturday per month paid as overtime.
Salary: £30,100–£34,000 per year. On-target earnings can reach up to £39,000 per year with a 20% target bonus and extra pay for one additional Saturday per month.

Department: Direct Labour Operations

About Netomnia: Netomnia is a small team dedicated to delivering reliable, high-speed fibre to customers’ doors. Founded in 2019, the company is building FTTP internet infrastructure across the UK with a focus on excellent customer support, fair contracts, and affordable pricing.
Job Purpose
The Installation Engineer installs a fibre connection into customer premises, aiming for right-first-time delivery while maintaining excellent customer service. You will update relevant systems promptly throughout the day and support other department work as required due to volume from ISP partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Primarily work on customer installations.
* Install into customer premises while upholding the highest standards of customer service.
* Manage the tools issued and the vehicle assigned to you in line with company policy.
* Complete assigned tasks on time and manage day-to-day jobs.
* Maintain health and safety compliance.
* Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience in a similar role, preferably on or for the Openreach Network.
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and hazard identification with a strong emphasis on H&S practices.
* Demonstrable experience in a networking engineering environment (preferred).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with the team, managers, and other departments, with a focus on customer service.
* Proactive approach to improving efficiencies and working smarter.
Requirements
* Must hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.
* SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent desirable.
* IPAF 1b desirable.
* NRSWA unit 2 (minimum) desirable.
* SMART AWARDS preferable.
* Telecommunications experience or transferable skills.
