Lead Engineer Chilton, Oxfordshire - FM Service Provider £45,000 per annum
CBW are currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to work in a commerical buildingbased in Chilton, Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day maintenance operations while supporting the delivery of a comprehensive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. Working closely with a dedicated on-site engineer, you will coordinate and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) services across the building, ensuring systems operate efficiently and to the highest standards.
With significant overtime available and a 1-in-4 call-out rota, this position provides strong earning potential within a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs alongside the Supervisor
2. Arrange and oversee specialist subcontractors
3. Manage reports and site logbooks in partnership with the Contract Manager and Supervisor
4. Ensure all documentation is current and audit-ready
5. Attend client meetings as required
6. Lighting: small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements, etc.
7. Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
8. Air conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)
