The successful candidates needs a minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification.
If successful you will be a Keyworker, supporting an Early Years Educator. With your key group you will need to be confident to build parent partnerships, meet your key children's daily needs, support their play and follow their interests.
Key aspects of the role include:
* To safeguard and promote the welfare of all children
* To support the adult led activities planned by colleagues
* To interact and engage in children's child-initiated play, extending children's vocabulary and knowledge through play
* Contribute to a stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors
* Adapt communication, teaching and play strategies to include all children and meet individual needs
Positions available in various departments so preferred age groups can be discussed at interview. Flexible working contracts available from 16-37.5 hours weekly.
£300 WELCOME BONUS on successful completion of probation period.
Desirable qualities include Paediatric First Aid training and basic Makaton skill, however all statutory training and opportunities to complete further stand alone professional development units can be provided for free to Flying Start staff.
