All Square Recruitment are recruiting Warehouse Operatives – Picker/Packers to join a busy distribution team in Wickford. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for applicants who successfully pass a 3 month probationary period.
Warehouse Operative - Responsibilities
* Accurately pick items from stock based on picking lists.
* Ensure correct quantities and product codes are selected.
* Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
* Palletise and wrap orders for safe transportation.
* Move stock between departments using pump trucks.
* Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as required.
Experience required for the role
* Previous experience in a warehouse picking and packing role
* Ability to handle heavy materials & work on your feet
* Strong attention to detail & accuracy
* Good communication & teamwork skills
* Reliable, with excellent timekeeping & a positive attitude.
