We're currently looking for an NQ or Solicitor to join the Casualty team in London.
This team handles a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Abuse claims, with case values ranging from small claims to high-end fast track.
As a Senior Paralegal, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients and collaborating with a team of legal professionals to deliver a high-quality, professional service on behalf of DWF. You'll be empowered to work independently and, in time, you will be assisting fee earners on files and supporting our qualified individuals.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend our newly refurbished London office twice a week.
Responsibilities
* To handle a defendant personal injury caseload.
* Help manage cases in accordance with departmental and client service standards and protocols.
* Serve as a trusted and proactive team member, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the case management system, reviewing confidential records, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
* Handle technical aspects of cases under the guidance of senior colleagues, contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal support.
* Progress cases efficiently and effectively, aiming for timely resolutions that meet client expectations.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* NQ or PQE Solicitor
* Experience assisting on, or managing a defendant personal injury caseload, involving Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL).
* Experience in using case management systems such as Visual Files.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
* A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
