Operating successfully with a globally distributed team since 2017, Smile is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to drive growth through paid marketing channels.
The Role
Objectives
This role requires a proven performance marketer experienced with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, TikTok, and other paid platforms to drive revenue for Smile’s dental cover products.
The manager will report to the Head of Marketing and will be part of the Retail and Corporate Dental Cover divisions. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with at least 6 hours of overlap with 8 am-5 pm GMT+10 (Brisbane, Australia).
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute paid search and social campaigns to acquire and retain customers.
* Create platform-specific ad creatives and detailed plans to increase revenue across various channels.
* Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaigns to improve ROI, CTR, and CPA.
* Collaborate with sales, design, content, and IT teams to align messaging and optimize the sales funnel.
* Conduct keyword research, manage bids, ad copy, and landing pages.
* Develop lead and revenue generation strategies for all funnel stages.
* Maintain a comprehensive view of campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and report insights regularly.
* Manage budgets efficiently across campaigns and channels.
* Implement A/B testing hypotheses to improve ad and bidding strategies.
* Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights.
* Explore new advertising platforms and opportunities for growth.
* Align performance marketing strategies with organic initiatives and overall marketing plans.

* Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
Ideal Candidate
Must have extensive experience with paid platforms, a growth mindset, excellent English skills, and high integrity. Demonstrated success in running Google and Meta ads is essential. The role suits someone passionate about excelling and achieving results.
