Experienced Maths Tutor for Looked After Children – 1:1 Tuition Role
Are you an experienced Maths educator looking to support vulnerable young people outside the mainstream classroom? We are recruiting tutors to deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to pupils in alternative provisions, LAC, and those with a history of exclusion or at risk of it.
About the Role:
Deliver structured Maths tuition in pupils’ homes or specialist venues
Plan personalised lessons and adapt strategies to meet each pupil’s needs
Record session feedback using our easy-to-use cloud-based system
Manage your own schedule and travel between locations independently
We’re looking for someone with:
In-depth Maths curriculum knowledge (KS2–KS4 ideal)
Experience working with SEND/SEMH pupils
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service - or a willingness to apply for one
QTS is an advantage, but a related degree with strong experience will be considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
