Chartered Building Surveyor

£55,000 – £65,000 + complete benefits & bonus package
Manchester is seeing huge investment and regeneration, and this consultancy is right in the middle of it. They’re now looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join the team and play a key role in delivering work across the region and beyond.
This isn’t a box‑ticking role. You’ll be trusted to lead instructions, build genuine client relationships and take ownership of projects across commercial, healthcare and education sectors.
What does your day‑to‑day look like?
You’ll operate across both project and professional work — leading on surveys, producing specifications, and administering contracts (JCT/NEC) on a range of schemes. Alongside this, you’ll handle core professional instructions including dilapidations, party wall matters, defect analysis and insurance work.
There’s also a leadership element here. You’ll support junior surveyors, contribute to team growth, and play a part in shaping how projects are delivered.
Requirements for the role:
* MRICS Chartered
* Solid consultancy experience across a mix of sectors
* Technically strong, with confidence across both project and professional services
* Comfortable in a client‑facing role, able to build and maintain relationships
* Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT and NBS Chorus is beneficial
* Full UK Driving Licence
