Job overview
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Applied Arts with experience in DT (NQT or experienced). This is an exciting and important role with the school. We deliver a multi-disciplinary spectrum of courses including art, graphics, textiles, photography, 3D Design & Applied Arts where pupils are encouraged to experiment, take risks and develop an independent approach to their studies. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in arts, crafts and 3D design and wide experience across a range of artistic influences including sculpting, painting, drawing, textiles 3D design / product design. The post holder will support subject initiatives; monitor, assess and report upon student progress and contribute to raising subject standards within the department and the School.

The School currently has 240 pupils and since 2014, has been under the ownership of Cavendish Education Ltd.
