As a Chef at our residential training facility, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative and supportive team to deliver a high-quality experience. Whether you’re at the start of your career, or you’re an experienced chef looking for better work-life balance, this rare opportunity is the role for you.
In a typical 42-hour week, you’ll work two 12-hour shifts and three 6-hour shifts per week (with breaks), and a meal is provided on those longer days. There’s also occasional voluntary weekend work, which you’ll be paid overtime for.
It’s a customer-facing role, so you’ll be interacting with the people you’re preparing food for. Preferably, you’ll hold a C&G/NVQ or equivalent Level 2 food preparation and cooking qualification. Supported from day one, our structured induction course will get you up to speed, and you’ll be mentored by our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager.
