Do you have existing electrical engineering experience looking to train and develop inside a specialist field? Would you like to do a field service role? Are you confident in building relationships with clients and suppliers?
If so, this exciting new role could be for you. Our client is a leadings supplier, installer and servicer of automated storage and retrieval systems used across the UK. They are looking for an Electrical Field Service engineer to join their team and assist with installation, inspection and servicing of equipment on customer’s site.
Role responsibilities:
* To respond to service breakdowns and carry out cost effective maintenance of products.
* Electro-mechanical service and maintenance.
* Mix of planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdowns.
* As it is a field service role the engineers have to be flexible i.e. Jobs will need to be completed
* Patch will be Leeds and the North so need to be commutable
Requirements
* Electrical Maintenance/Service experience (3 phase understanding)
* Must have a proven electrical breakdown background
* Sound mechanical knowledge
* Electrical qualification (ideally)
* Ideally with field service experience
* Motivated to work in a field service role
* Lives in Leeds and surrounding areas
* Full UK licence (vital)
Hours : Monday to Friday - Days (8 am – 5 pm)
24 Hour call out:
Duties include participating in the 24-hour call-out scheme on a rota basis. Approx 1 in 4-6 weeks. Engineers do not work during the day and get paid standard rates for all hours when called out. Call out may include other patches or other engineers
