We are seeking to recruit a decicated and experienced Teaching Assistant on behalf of a lovely junior school in Burton-On-Trent (DE14).
This position is due to begin in June 2024 and has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate!
Working hours are 8:45-3:25 Monday-Friday.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in the management of Year 4 pupils
* Work on a 1:1 and group intervention basis as directed by the class teacher
* Provide regular feedback on pupil progression
* Contribute to pupils formative and summative assessment
* Promote the school's vision and values
* Implement behaviour management strategies
* Work with pupils with Special Educational Needs when directed
Requirements:
* A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable
* Experience of working with individuals with SEN is essential
* Experience of working in a school setting is desirable
* Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Be able to provide x2 satisfactory references
