Hagley Catholic High School is looking to recruit two Teachers of Computing for September 2026. We are looking to recruit the equivalent of 1.3 FTE hours, which is 42 teaching periods over a fortnight. We are happy to recruit any combination of hours for these posts including fulltime and any combination of part time teachers. (E.g a 0.6 and a 0.7 FTE) It is essential that the candidate can teach across all year groups from KS3 to KS4 with the ability to teach at A Level desirable or an area of future growth for the successful candidate. The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to teaching and learning development in Computing across all key stages and all abilities and we are looking to appoint an ambitious, committed and conscientious practitioner. In 2025, 100% of the cohort achieved grades 9 - 1 with an average grade of 5a. 20% achieved 7 or more, while 83.3% achieved 9 - 4 and 63% 9 - 5. At KS5, 100% pass rate was secured with an average grade of a C in Computing and Distinction* in IT, with forecast data predicting B- this year.
