Psychology Graduate - Mainstream School Support Overview: An exciting opportunity for a Psychology graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with additional needs in a mainstream school setting. You'll work with students who require extra support with their learning, emotional regulation, and social development, gaining valuable experience for future careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, or Therapeutic Work. What You'll Be Doing Supporting pupils with mild to moderate learning difficulties, social and emotional needs, or communication challenges within the classroom. Working alongside the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual support strategies and adapt learning materials. Assisting students to build confidence, independence, and resilience in their academic and social skills. Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions to promote engagement and emotional wellbeing.
