The Quantity Surveyor role
* Be a recognised Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness, focusing on profit and cash flow.
* Work collaboratively to input into Work Scope Documents and procure Enable Work Packages with the Client Procurement Team.
* Have prior experience with Construction Management (CM) projects.
* Manage a range of commercial aspects, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and management of subcontract works packages through to final account.
* Keen to minimise risk and cost, and maximise value through cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
* Possess broad construction industry experience covering many sectors and markets in commercial roles with major contracting organisations.
Your profile
* Large‑scale major project experience / Construction Management experience.
* Prior or current experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.
* Strategic judgment: disseminate a breadth of internal and external data and apply sound judgement regarding the strategic direction of the business.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related subject.
