Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:
* British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
* Minimum of HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage.
* Analytical systems thinker with the ability to develop and communicate new concepts and architectures.
* Understanding of the requirements and needs that drive design.
* Excellent presentation skills for engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to take responsibility for decisions affecting multiple design domains/system elements.
* Capability to influence and drive a narrative.
* Willingness to learn and deliver as part of an agile team.
* Attention to detail along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver key System of Systems concepting activities.
* Conduct requirements elicitation and decomposition.
* Implement architectural processes across the project.
* Utilize Model Based Engineering tools.
* Collaborate with design teams to define and convey the overall system concept, trades, and design principles while balancing fulfillment of needs.
* Support cross-functional assessment and analysis activities.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
