Network and Security Engineer

As a Network and Security Engineer reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in our ongoing digital transformation. You’ll help design, implement, and support the systems that power Telent’s ICT estate - working on cutting-edge technologies in a role that blends strategy, problem-solving, and hands-on expertise.
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in our Warwick HQ 1-2 days per week, as well as ad-hoc travel on occasion.
Lead network design and architecture for Telent’s Corporate Enterprise network - producing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation and network schematics.
Implement and support advanced network and security solutions using Cisco technologies including Software-Defined Access (SDA) and SD-WAN.
Test and evaluate emerging technologies, helping Telent stay ahead of the curve.
Contribute to business continuity by participating in a 24/7 on-call support rota (one week per month).
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who have experience in network security, routing, and switching. Solid background in enterprise network security - think ISE, 802.Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless LAN and Software Defined technologies
Knowledge of current IT trends and technologies
Full UK driving licence and willingness to be part of a rotating on-call schedule
