Ecommerce Distribution Supervisor
Location: 5 Queensway, Croydon, London
Reports to: F&B Ecommerce Distribution Manager
Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time Contract
As an Ecommerce Distribution Supervisor, you will drive the performance of ecommerce logistics operations within a fast‑paced distribution environment. You will act as a key link between warehouse operations, inventory and systems teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and high service delivery across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring all online orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
* Lead, train and motivate a team, improving productivity and maintaining high performance standards.
* Manage staff scheduling, workload allocation and performance monitoring to meet fluctuating order volumes and tight deadlines.
* Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts, stock audits and discrepancy resolution.
* Oversee shipping processes, ensuring correct packaging, labelling and coordination with courier services to meet delivery targets.
* Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and D365 ERP to track orders, monitor KPIs and generate operational reports.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting routine checks and promoting a safe working environment.
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimise workflow efficiency, reduce errors and increase output.
* Collaborate with customer service, supply chain, inventory and procurement teams to resolve issues and improve overall supply‑chain performance.
* Provide support, advice and assistance to F&B / Boutique teams when required.
Qualifications
* Experience in operational management within ecommerce, logistics or distribution.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and fulfilment processes.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, D365 and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including peak periods.
