Is this the role for you?
The Forecasting role is part of the UK Research team, which includes Viewer Insight, Streaming Analytics, and Airtime Management. This position is central to Paramount's operations, helping to understand viewers and inform creative and commercial strategies. You will serve as the viewer's voice for stakeholders across all channels.
What will you be doing?
* Forecast impacts, SOCI, SOSCI, and viewership share for key audiences across Paramount brands, considering content, competition, seasonality, marketing, and schedules. Communicate major changes to stakeholders.
* Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for channels and competitors across all platforms—linear, BVOD, and SVOD.
* Support updates to streaming forecasts, including Sky and Virgin VOD, using schedules to inform revenue streams.
* Develop and improve forecasting models for accuracy, maintainability, and speed.
* Assist with projects like carrier deal renewals, EPG changes, distribution modeling, and ROI analysis.
* Collaborate with schedulers, finance, commissioners, streaming, airtime, and insight teams to ensure accurate and timely forecasts.
What are we looking for?
* Experience as a Research/Forecasting Assistant, preferably in media.
* Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
* Exceptional Excel skills.
* Knowledge of Techedge and dashboard tools like Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload responsibly.
