Position Details
* Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
* Hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed term contract starting April 2026 for a minimum of 18 weeks
* Rate: £13.45 to £16.50 per hour plus bonuses & overtime
* Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Seasonal General Operative, you will play a vital role in our Surface Dressing team. Your focus will be on ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel around the site. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures.
* Assist drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, while maintaining accurate records.
* Support the safe operation of excavators and other heavy machinery, adhering to company policies.
* Record and report any incidents or accidents on site, while keeping equipment and vehicles clean and functional.
* Help with the setup and breakdown of work sites, and carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a full driving licence, a current CSCS card, and have experience operating heavy machinery.
* You have a background in construction or laboring, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
* You possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and are eager to learn new skills.
* You are flexible with shifts and available for overtime when needed.
