Overview
Stockport, Greater Manchester, England, SK4 – Care Home Manager role at HC-One. This position values kindness and supports residents in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care settings. You will lead by example, ensuring that residents are treated with dignity and respect and that care home operations run smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the well-being of Residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
* Lead, motivate and mentor the care team and deliver clinical guidance and training for safe and efficient operation of the home.
* Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans for each Resident.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
* Promote Residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect and strive for continuous improvement in care quality.
* Lead provision through effective leadership and home management, ensuring the best people are on-site to deliver empathic service.
* Champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan for the home, and conduct quality assurance to exceed regulatory standards.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register is required.
* Either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
* Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and experience conducting risk assessments.
* Strong communication with residents and co-workers, showing kindness and consideration at all times.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know how to act on concerns. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed, including escalation if action is not taken.
