Headteacher – Permanent Position

A highly reputable, award-winning group of special educational needs (SEN) schools is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead one of their specialist schools in Wolverhampton. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to guide a dedicated team in delivering outstanding education and care to children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the continued success and development of the school.
* Maintain and further enhance the high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care.
* Lead and manage staff effectively, fostering a positive, collaborative, and professional culture.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safeguarding policies, and best practice in SEN provision.
* Develop strong partnerships with parents, carers, governors, and external agencies.
* Oversee the effective use of resources and ensure financial stability.
* Drive innovation in curriculum design and delivery to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven leadership experience, ideally within an SEN setting.
* A strong track record of school improvement and raising standards.
* In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation, guidance, and effective provision.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
* Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, supportive leadership style.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
