Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll investigate and manage noise and nuisance cases in the commercial sector, from initial complaint through to resolution and potential court proceedings. You’ll also prepare reports and respond to Members’ and public enquiries.
Requirements
1. PO1 – Experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations, including enforcement, and consulting on Licensing applications.
2. PO2 – Experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and consulting on Planning, Licensing, and Prior Consent s.61 applications. An IOA Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement is desirable.
3. PO3 – Significant experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and enforcement. Must have the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
4. PO4 – Extensive experience and knowledge in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and enforcement. Must have an accredited academic qualification (e.g., MSc, BSc (Hons), or Diploma) in Environmental Health approved by the Environmental Health Registration Board, or an MSc in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics or equivalent, is essential.
