Holbrook Hall is a warm and welcoming residential care home for the elderly, set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside just outside Derby. Our historic William and Mary-style country house is surrounded by four acres of landscaped gardens, providing a peaceful and supportive environment for our residents. The Role:
We are looking for a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will provide essential support to our residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, eating, and mobility.
* Support residents in maintaining their independence while ensuring safety.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
* Contribute to a positive and respectful environment within the home.
What We're Looking For:
* A compassionate and patient nature.
* Strong communication skills in English (Required).
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential).
* Previous experience in a care setting is an advantage but not necessary – training will be provided.
