Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester vacancy in Salisbury
1. Salary: Between £33-34,000 per annum, negotiable pending experience, plus bonuses earned.
2. Hours: 42.5 per week over a guaranteed 5-day week. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 2 Sat 8:00am-4:00pm (day off in the week when you work a Sat).

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy centre in Salisbury.
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to Ministry standards. You shall also diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work, and provide overall workshop support as and when required.
To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Salisbury and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly, approachable manner, as you will occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries and produce high-quality work within specified time frames. An MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points are essential for our client at this stage.
