The Royal Sutton School are seeking to appoint a highly organised, friendly and efficient Administration Assistant to join our school office team. The successful candidate will be based within the SEND team, playing a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of SEND administration, while remaining an integral part of the wider administrative team. They will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff and will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the school office. We are looking for someone who is professional, approachable and able to manage a range of administrative tasks in a busy school environment. Key Responsibilities: To provide administrative support to the school office team, with a particular focus on SEND Maintain accurate pupil records and school databases Support communication and general office systems Communicate effectively with parents and carers, ensuring a professional and supportive approach Liaise with external professionals and agencies, supporting the coordination of services relating to SEND Assist with school communications, letters and correspondence Support the wider school team with administrative tasks as required What you'll need to succeed Have strong organisational and administrative skills Be confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times What you'll get in return We offer a welcoming school community Supportive colleagues An opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school and to work as part of a dedicated and friendly team.
