This is an exciting role that will see the post holder managing a portfolio of work relating to a full and diverse range of support activities and opportunities for learners across the Department. These learners will include medical students, training doctors, locally employed doctors, consultant educators and medical education staff. The portfolio is likely to focus on undergraduate and Foundation Programme learners.
The role will also involve leading on the day‑to‑day operation of quality assurance and educational governance of postgraduate and undergraduate education and training within the Department. Working with our Senior Medical Education Managers, Medical Education Managers, other Medical Education staff, clinical colleagues and our Director of Medical Education, the post holder will support the implementation of all aspects of the activities of the Quality and Governance Committee in relation to their specific portfolio.
