About the Role
The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is seeking an empathetic and motivated individual to join our Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Cancer Service as an Assistant Youth Worker.
Key Responsibilities
* Build supportive relationships with young people aged 16-30 facing cancer.
* Support the delivery of person-centred care.
* Assist with organizing and facilitating recreational activities.
* Create a safe and engaging environment tailored to young people's needs.
Candidate Requirements
* Proactive, well-organized, and IT literate.
* Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends.
* Understanding of person-centred care and ability to build supportive relationships.
