Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the SG & CM postcode areas carrying out servicing and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a housing association contract.
Duties:
1. Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
2. Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
3. Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.
4. Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
Requirements:
1. Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years.
2. Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
3. In-date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.
5. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment).
Salary & Package:
1. 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
2. Overtime paid at time and a half door to door.
3. Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates.
4. Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
5. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
6. Monthly bonus up to £200.00.
7. Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at £400.00 in summer and £600 in winter plus price per job.
8. OTE £45,000+ per annum.
9. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
