About the Role Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and complex learning needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning resources to meet individual needs. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Detailed Overview This is a rewarding role for someone who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential. You will play a vital part in the classroom, offering 1:1 and small group support, using strategies that promote engagement and progress. The successful candidate will be confident in managing challenging behaviour, implementing sensory and communication strategies and liaising with external professionals when required. Your ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families will be key to ensuring positive outcomes and a nurturing learning experience. Requirements Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Extensive experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and empathy.
