You will be expected to be technically excellent and have a broad range and experience of commercial surveying including Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Condition Surveys, Contract Administration / Project Management, Dilapidations, and Party Wall Matters. Additionally, you should be able to manage both single and multiple asset instructions.
The job involves a varied workload, often balancing multiple instructions simultaneously.
You will focus on service delivery, working as part of a larger team to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients. You should be confident in dealing directly with clients.
You will need to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure profitability of instructions.
* The key focus of our TDD advice and reporting is to identify key risks, assess their severity and quantify them, along with providing mitigation recommendations. Our advice aims to ensure clients maximize value from their assets with a clear understanding of risks. The role includes mainly Technical Due Diligence, with some Project Management/Contract Administration, Dilapidations, and Party Wall services across various building types, mainly commercial.
* This position carries a high level of responsibility and accountability, offering opportunities for managerial and technical development within a growing specialist team.
* Manage risk in service delivery and contribute to improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrate organic revenue growth and support the implementation of the business plan in the commercial building surveying sector.
* Undertake professional technical consultancy, including Technical Due Diligence, dilapidations, condition surveys, and occasionally party wall work.
* Communicate effectively to ensure successful project execution.
* Liaise with Project Managers and Team Leaders for financial control and efficient service delivery.
* Represent the company professionally and diligently.
* Provide regular updates to the Sector Director on contract progress.
* Mentor and supervise junior building surveyors.
