Sales Account Manager

Salary: Up to £27,000 + Bonus

Main Duties
* Achieve sales targets by value, volume, and gross margin for designated accounts/areas
* Develop and monitor new customer accounts
* Respond effectively to targets set and agreed with the Sales Office Manager
* Maintain a high standard of day-to-day communication with customers via telephone, email, and other channels
* Monitor all aspects of the sales order process, ensuring procedures are followed correctly
* Prepare and issue quotations in line with company pricing policies, using cut-to-size optimisation software and CRM systems
* Produce monthly sales reports for the Sales Office Manager
* Assist with stock purchasing to meet agreed stock turn targets
* Work closely with the Warehouse & Distribution Manager to ensure service levels meet customer demand while minimising costs
* Attend Sales Office and Branch meetings as required
* Carry out additional duties as requested by the Sales or Branch Manager
* Observe all Health & Safety requirements within the sales and warehouse environment
About You
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, be numerate, and present themselves in a smart and professional manner. We are looking for someone with energy, motivation, and enthusiasm, who is a team player with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise effectively.
Experience working in a sales environment is preferred, but candidates from other backgrounds with the right attitude and transferable skills will also be considered.
