GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to work with schools in Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering practical sessions that develop physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence. In this role, the Sports Coach will lead activities across a variety of sports, support pupils in improving technique, and promote participation, fair play, and a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing. Role Highlights: Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions for different ages and abilities Encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal development Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils as Sports Coach Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support wider school sports initiatives Skills and Experience: Experience coaching or working with children and young people in sports Strong communication and motivational skills Ability to inspire pupils and promote engagement in physical activity Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you are a passionate Sports Coach ready to make a positive impact, we welcome your application.
