Job Details
Must be able to work weekends. Join our award-winning team! A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. Responsibilities include servicing guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures, stocking carts with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room supplies while following safety and security standards. This role may also involve conducting deep cleaning activities and preventative maintenance tasks. Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards are essential.
Responsibilities
1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
2. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards, with scheduling varying according to hotel needs.
3. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
4. Follow hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
5. Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
6. Complete pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
7. Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
4. Ability to work well under pressure in stressful situations.
