GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Loughton. The Role Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans. Support pupils both in and outside of the classroom to help them reach their full potential. Encourage independence, build confidence, and promote positive social and emotional development. Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and daily routines. What We’re Looking For Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, healthcare, youth work, or similar settings will be considered). Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils. A proactive and flexible approach to meeting individual needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
