Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, topic-based training sessions tailored to the group's age and ability.
* Focus on developing technical skills
* Foster a fun, supportive, and engaging atmosphere that encourages player growth.
* Work with groups of 6-8 players, adapting your coaching style as needed for age and ability.
* Provide clear feedback to players to support their development.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Key Attributes and Requirements
* Friendly and Engaging with Kids: Ability to build rapport with players, creating a positive and motivating environment.
* Technically Focused: Strong understanding of technical aspects of goalkeeping, with a focus on skill development.
* Session Planning Skills: Experience designing structured and progressive training sessions around specific topics.
* Comfortable with Group Coaching: Confident leading groups of 6-8 players, ensuring all participants are engaged.
* Adaptable: Ability to work with players of varying ages and abilities, from basics to advanced levels.
* FA Coaching Qualifications: Minimum FA Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) or equivalent coaching certification.
* Safeguarding and First Aid: Up-to-date safeguarding children and emergency first aid certificates.
* DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check is required before starting.
