Main Purpose of Role
Serve as the point of contact for customer sales inquiries, providing product information and assistance with selection; capturing these inquiries as leads and coordinating within the business to generate and support sales opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
1. Identify and process all incoming sales leads, maximizing sales across all GDHV brands.
2. Register new projects and update CRM (D365) to support sales teams with project management, quotations, and pipelines.
3. Support customer inquiries requiring product selection for Dimplex heating and Xpelair ventilation systems, optimizing sales opportunities.
4. Maintain and cleanse CRM database records.
5. Follow up on marketing campaigns and events to develop and qualify leads into project opportunities.
6. Compile sales and design information to produce professional specification documents for customers.
7. Conduct product sizing to propose suitable products.
8. Understand LOT20 and SAP requirements to promote product features and benefits.
9. Keep project records and documents updated in line with quality standards.
10. Assist external sales teams in maintaining customer relationships.
11. Adhere to health and safety policies and environmental standards, including ISO9001 and ISO14001.
12. Provide excellent customer support via all communication channels.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Criteria
* Excellent communication skills for advising customers and colleagues.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong written and verbal skills.
* Commitment to continuous personal and role improvement.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with CRM systems, ideally D365.
* Knowledge of HVAC products and industry regulations.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Experience within an ISO accredited environment.
Travel
Travel within the UK or ROI may be required.
