The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support learning and development in nursery and reception classes
* Assist in delivering engaging play-based and structured activities
* Help children develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning
* Support children with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
* Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
* Encourage independence, confidence, and curiosity in young learners
* Prepare classroom resources and assist with daily routines
You will also assist with outdoor learning, creative play, and school trips, creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for all children.
