Our opportunity
We are looking for a highly organised and outgoing PR & Communications Assistant to join our small, high-performing team.
This role will play an integral part in helping the team deliver our department objectives and help promote to the media the huge variety of BAFTA's work as an arts charity; from our high-profile Film, Games and TV Awards; industry and member events; talent development programmes, competitions, and more.
The PR & Communications Assistant will work to help coordinate the day-to-day running of the BAFTA Press Office and provide admin support to the Executive Director of Engagement, Marketing and Communications. They will support the PR & Communications Officer and Head of PR & Communications on the delivery of major PR campaigns for BAFTA's high-profile Awards, membership activity and talent development programmes – this involves writing press releases, pitching to journalists on the phone and on email, meeting journalists and attending industry events.
