Our Company was formed in 2003 and has grown to a team of 32 people who are engaged with improving workplace ventilation (Occupational Hygiene) to prevent workers from contracting workplace illnesses such as Asthma, COPD, Lung diseases and even Cancer. From joiners cutting wood and breathing in dust to welders breathing in fumes these processes have life changing effects which we try to stop.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Retention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. This position involves engaging with existing customers to retain their ongoing business and securing orders as they have an obligation to have an annual inspection of their equipment.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers through outbound calling to inform them their next statutory test is due, then follow up via email to secure an order
* Check customer pricing is correct
* Receive customer orders and produce retention reports for Directors
* Produce engineer paperwork to carry out the work
* Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering solutions tailored to individual clients.
* Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback within our systems.
* Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improving retention strategies.
* Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless transitions for clients considering changes in their services.
* Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while communicating with clients, ensuring a professional and friendly approach at all times.
Abilities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
* Proven sales experience, demonstrating an ability to upsell services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
* Familiarity with analysis skills for evaluating customer feedback and implementing improvements is beneficial.

Starting salary £28,000
Additionally an attendance bonus will be paid of £50.00 per calendar month to employees who do not have an unauthorised or sickness day off during any particular month up to payment of the allowance. The attendance allowance of £600 will be paid with your November pay for all employees who have completed full employment up to and including the month of October.
Annual Holiday Entitlement is 20 days per annum plus statutory holidays, which will increase by an extra day's holiday for each continuous year of service following the first anniversary of employment and there after each January, up to a maximum of 5 additional day's per annum.
